Assistant Product Manager - Life Insurance

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with many of the Industries top professionals in a pivotal role which will see you responsible for the following duties: 

• Managing a portfolio of retail life insurance products and ensuring they not only meet but also exceed competitor product offerings
• Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for the Sales team and educating them thoroughly on the product features.
• Completing bi-annual product updates
• Understanding the competitor market and customer needs
• Developing and managing the relationships between both internal and external stakeholders
• Working closely with the Actuarial team to ensure pricing profitability and competitiveness
• Rolling out rate changes in order to meet financial objectives
• Reviewing all tender opportunities
• Monitoring legislative changes and ensuring compliance issues are adhered to
• Completing various reports to track new business written, cancellations, policies in force and loss ratios to targets

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following: 

• Previous product management experience within the Life Insurance industry (Retail or Life)
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable)
• Strong negotiation skills
• Proven track record of high achieving and excellence
• Drive and market intelligence
• Excellent communicational skills both written and verbal
