The main divisions within this firm are Accounting, Business Advisory, Superannuation, Taxation Consulting, Audit and Assurance and Corporate Recovery. YOUR OPPORTUNITY
This highly regarded firm with an exceptional reputation in the local market has an opening for a Supervisor to join the Business Services division. This dynamic team is motivated and driven providing an enthusiastic and productive spirit amongst the group.
This firm has recently relocated to brand new CBD offices with state of the art technology, open plan desks and group breakout areas to support the firm’s values. A variety of extra-curricular activities are promoted including exercise groups and an active social calendar including team, division and firm wide events.
An exemplary training program is provided including soft skills training and technical training programs. The firm offers role and level specific training programs annually up to Director level to ensure all members are continually progressing. Etiquette, ethics and management training are also provided to enhance staff development.

YOUR ROLE
Working within the Business Services team, the strategic purpose of this role is to provide year end tax compliance for a range of entities in various industries. This role will specifically work with a diverse range of agribusiness clients and businesses.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:
- Provision of accounting, taxation and advisory services with a strong emphasis on tax planning
- Direct contact with clients supported by the Business Services Managers & Partners
- Mentoring and training of junior staff
- Reviewing of client files prepared by junior staff
- Responsible for the financial accounts preparation, BAS and income tax returns for all entities
YOUR BACKGROUND
In order to be successful in attaining this role you must possess the following requirements:
- CA/CPA Qualified
- At least 5 years experience in Business Services
- Passionate and enthusiastic personality
- Mentoring and leadership experience
- Strong analytical and technical accounting ability
- Capable of working in a team environment
- Agribusiness experience is favourable
