Your Job
This is a 6 month maternity contract with a possible opportunity for a permanent job in another position as the company is rapidly expanding.
The strategic purpose of this role is to use your Management Accounting or Finance Manager skills to assist the stakeholders make the best decisions. Specifically speaking you will be undertaking the following:
- Collate, manage and report on KPI’s specifically:
- Operational KPI’s for regional sales.
- Average cost price.
- Variance analysis.
- Weight/volume splits.
- Cost saving reports.
- Overhead reports.
- Budgeting & forecasting.
- Help other division commercial managers.
- Managing multiple stake holders expectations.
- Managing constant change.
- Manage large complex GL & over 200 Cost Centres.
- Presentation of key management reports to stakeholders.
- Trend analysis for identifying business opportunities.
You will have the support of an Assistant Accountant to handle the transactional accounting and the support of other managers from the other divisions.
Your Characteristics
In order to be appropriate you will need the following characteristics:
- Have at least 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Have experience in a Business Intelligence Tool such as Hyperion, JD Edwards, S-Base, TM1 or Oracle.
- Demonstrated strong commercial acumen.
- Demonstrate ability to work in a demanding role.
- Be able to operate and influence other senior stake holders.
- Able to prioritise financial and management tasks.
- Be a pro-active team leader.
