An established and growing insurance recoveries organisation is seeking an experienced solicitor.  The team is young and vibrant and are looking for someone who can relate to them and guide them on their track to success.  This organisation has some big national and international accounts which will keep you challenged and interested everyday.  Furthermore, there are flexible working hours which will ensure you can get work / life balance.  The location will suit anyone from Brisbane or the surrounding suburbs.

Your Job

Being an experienced solicitor you will be required to oversee and manage the legal side of the business.  Tasks include:

• Managing files and generating documents for court
• Liaising with external solicitors
• Facilitating legal advice to clients
• Developing training materials both internally and externally
• Skills and cultural development of a team of paralegals
• Managing and directing the team
• Using your commercial acumen to determine what is viable and what is not

Your Requirements

In order to make this position yours, you must address the following criteria:

1. 2 years experience in property and motor recoveries
2. Bachelor of Law – admitted as a solicitor
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Ability to push back on unfavourable decisions and generate your own view
5. Ability to offer solutions and think outside the box
