Motor Claims Consultants - Commercial Portfolio

The Company 
Our client is a Leading Insurance Provider who are seeking a Motor Claims Advisor to work on a portfolio of Commercial Motor Claims.   They are not only looking for experienced individuals to join their dynamic and fast paced team but also professionals that are self-motivated team players who are driven to work as a part of a successful team.
 
 
The Opportunity:
If successful you will manage and resolve Heavy Motor/Fleet Claims to the best advantage for the company while ensuring that a standard of fairness to claimants and all claims are company compliant.    You will manage claims from an end to end perspective within your assigned authority level. 
Duties include but are not limited to:

• Respond to brokers, approved panel of service provides and clients, ensuing that a existing relationships are maintained, developed and meeting a high level of service agreements at all times.
• Settle claims within authority limits
• Keep External and Internal contacts up to date with the progress of their claims
• Determine policy liability on each case

Your Details:
This opportunity is ideal for a professional yet highly enthusiastic Heavy Motor Claims Advisor who is driven, motivated and dynamic, and who perhaps wants to further develop on their coaching and mentoring skills.   To be considered you will possess the following: 

• Advanced understanding of the General Insurance market with excellent knowledge of the Insurance Contracts Acts, Insurance & Brokers Act and the code of practice.
• Tertiary Qualified
• 1+ years Claims experience (preferably within Commercial Motor, with Heavy Motor experience being highly regarded)
• The ability to work under pressure with the capability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Intermediate Microsoft package (word, excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to details
• Most Importantly, excellent organisational & time management skills
