Rehabilitation Consultant - Life Insurance

The Company

This highly successful Life Insurance Provider with a major presence in the risk industry are currently seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant who will provide strategic direction and technical assistance to a professional team of Life Claims Assessors.

The Opportunity

Other primary responsibilities of this role will include:

• Reviewing and revising Injury management plans throughout the life of the claim
• Providing effective coaching, training and advice to Claims Assessors
• Providing advice on more complex conditions and identifying high risk claims
• Developing excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders ensuring every claim is handled in the most professional and efficient manner for all parties involved
• Participating in ad-hoc projects

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• An Allied Health qualification (Preferably in Psychology)
• A minimum of 12 months experience in the role of an Injury Management Advisor or Rehabilitation Consultant
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Excellent Negotiation and Analytical skills
