YOUR OPPORTUNITY
A well regarded firm with an exceptional name in the local market is looking for a Manager to lead a team in their Tax and Business Services Division. YOUR ROLE
Working as a Manager within the Tax and Business Services Division, you will be responsible leading, managing and mentoring a team of accountants that you can make your mark and grow your team.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:
- Managing and monitoring work in progress and budget performance
- Coaching supervisors and seniors on management duties (delegation of work, monitoring work flow)
- Review of high end work
- Review of financial statements for all entity types
- Providing technical training and support
- Build and maintain high level of understanding of clients' businesses and current issues impacting your clients
- Attracting and retaining clients to build and broaden client base
- Developing network of contacts
- Undertaking performance reviews for team
- Liaising with Directors and unit leaders in relation to tax planning, structuring and complex GST issues
YOUR BACKGROUND
In order to be successful in attaining this role you must possess the following requirements:
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Experience within a similar Management role
- Superb communication skills
- Strong analytical and technical accounting ability
- Capable of working in a team environment
- Experience building networks and managing client base
- Team management experience within a Accounting Practice
