Virtual CFO

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The position is a highly original position and one that offers something new and different in the Chartered Profession. You will be providing advice to emerging businesses and mid-sized corporations through the outsourcing of accountancy based functions including the CFO function, management accounting and reporting, payroll services and accounts payable services.  In short a more commercially focused role for the Chartered Accountant working in profession.

•  Financial reports preparation – standard 
•  Analysis of Management reports – provision of advice and providing commentary to clients
• Design, development and analysis of financial models
• Tax compliance – tax returns, FBT returns, GST, payroll tax, workers compensation.
• Tax planning – limited but required
• Knowledge of finance back office functions (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll and CM) including documenting and reengineering of procedures.
• Knowledge of control procedures

A division of a Top Tier Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers who specialise in providing advice to emerging businesses and mid-sized corporations.  The Central Coast office provides Business Services and Business Process Outsourcing services to a wide range of industries and businesses across Australia.  This particular office specializes in the provision of Business Process Outsourcing offering more commercial accounting services including CFO services, management accounting, payrolls and creditors.

 YOUR DETAILS:

• Bachelor of Arts Degree in an accountancy or related subject
• Membership of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA)
• Superior Business Management and people skills
• At least five years experience working in a similar role for a mid tier accounting firm.
• Advanced IT Skills to include client systems Micropay, MYOB, Lotus Notes, Epicor highly regarded.
• Ability to travel
• The position may suit a Commercial / Company Accountant
